Privacy policy

This policy explains what Pricemart Technologies (Lahore, Pakistan), which runs Pricemart.pk, collects when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Questions: contact@pricemart.pk.

When you browse

• Visit counts. For each page you view we record the page, the name of the website that sent you (for example google.com), whether you’re on a phone or a computer, and the time. We don’t set cookies for this and don’t store your IP address.
• Searches. Words typed into our search box and how many results they found, so we can add the phones people look for. They aren’t linked to you.
• Store clicks. When you click “Go to store” we record which offer was clicked and when, then send you to the store.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count visits and measure how fast pages load. They don’t use cookies.
• Google Analytics helps us understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and receives information such as your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you view. Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) tells Meta which pages you view here and when you click “Go to store”, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people who have visited. It sets cookies and sends Meta information such as your browser, device, IP address and the pages you view; if you use Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link this to your account. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings, and control how Meta uses it for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
• Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

When you set a price alert

We store your email address, the phone (and RAM/storage, if you chose one) and your target price. We use them only to email you once when a store’s price reaches your target. Every alert email has a link to stop all your alerts. We never send marketing emails and never sell or share your email address.

When you email us

We keep your message and email address to reply to you and to deal with what you asked about.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel: website hosting and Web Analytics.
• Supabase: our database (prices, visit counts, price alerts).
• Google: Google Analytics.
• Meta: the Meta Pixel, for measuring and showing our Facebook and Instagram ads.
• Resend: sending price alert emails.
• Zoho: our email inbox.

These providers may store data outside Pakistan. They process it on our behalf and under their own security commitments. We don’t sell personal data to anyone.

Stores you visit from Pricemart.pk

When you follow a link to a store, that store’s own privacy policy applies. A store link may tell the store that the visit came from Pricemart.pk (see how we make money).

How long we keep data

• Visit counts and searches: about 13 months, then deleted automatically.
• Price alerts: until you stop them or ask us to delete them.
• Emails to us: as long as needed to handle your request.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@pricemart.pk from the address concerned. Stop price alerts any time with the link in an alert email. The site isn’t aimed at children under 13.

If we change this policy we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
